This is one of Roald Dahl's most popular short stories and has been filmed several times, most famously by Alfred Hitchcock in the 1960s.

I think it is a great story, like the most from "kiss kiss", it has an unexpected ending. I enjoyed the quiz, and liked the teenagers´ video, maybe i´ll get into the ih competition, who knows, it might be a unique opportunity!

ReplyDeleteI`m pretty shure their story is amazing, I mean, being trapped 70 days about 600m underground with 33 men should make them know each other quite well!
About "Mrs. Bixby..." video:
The video was very amateur and it`s definitely very hard no understand for someone who hasn`t read the story. However, the video`s nonsense makes it quite funny!
The video i really not like it! i thought that it was kind of boring! But the test was great, because i really like the story!
ReplyDeleteI liked the video probably because of the bad performances of the "actors". However, it doesn't inspire me to enter in the video competition as I'm quite shy. Apart from that, I enjoyed doing the quiz and it helped me to remind of all the important parts of the book.
