  2. I`ve studied English for eight years but I have never been taught how to use phonemic symbols. I think that this tool is very useful to improve the pronunciation of the vocabulary which has been learnt recently. Now, I have a new method to check how to pronounce properly a new word: First I can write down the phonemic symbols above the word during the class or find the word with its phonemic symbols in the dictionary. After that, I have to go to the interactive phonemic chart to listen the sound of every symbol in the word. Finally, I have to repeat in a loud voice the word two or three times.
I will definitively add the interactive phonemic chart to my favorite’s websites!!
    Thks!

  3. Wow! What a great idea to begin this year learning how to use the phonemic chart! I believe that this will help me a lot with my pronounciation. It is excellent to have an interactive phonemic chart, so now I´m able to click each symbol and find the correct pronounciation for a word and then write it down! Thanks :)

  5. I have never learned the phonetic chart, so it is all a new word for me. But it isn't as difficult as I thought, if you sit in your chair, start reading the examples given for each one of the symbols and associating each word with each symbol. Little by little you will start learning the symbols. Also you can use the interactive phonetic chart to study, so it becomes easier.

  7. To be honest, I never understood what it was the phonetic chart because I haven't learned it in my life. I find them really very usufull, for example to improve pronunciation.

  8. I think the phonemic chart it's very useful for pronunciation (not to say necessary) and this is even more useful, it would be really hard to learn all of the symbols respective sounds without this interactive chart.

  10. I think it is useful if you see it in the way that are strange symbols and if you know the examples, you can asociate them to the sound and make them easier.

  11. It’s a great tool because from now on when I want to find out the meaning of a word I first checked on the dictionary to see its definition but also I can learn how to pronounce it. I’ve never learned this tool in any other institute and I consider that it is going to be a very important tool to improve my communication skills.

  15. Although I have been studying english all my life, I have never learned how to use the phonemic chart. I believe that this will be quite useful to improve my pronuntiation and I hope that by the end of the year I be able to understand all the symbols.
